1993 autozam az1 mazdaspeed edition
This 1993 Autozam AZ-1 is one of fewer than 150 built with the Mazdaspeed package including front and rear spoilers, sport suspension tuning, a limited-slip differential, and more. Power is from a turbocharged 657cc inline-three mounted behind the driver and paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Modifications include ROH wheels as well as an aftermarket steering wheel and hub adapter to accommodate taller drivers.
The AZ-1 was built by Mazda subsidiary Autozam between 1992-1994, and featured plastic composite body panels with gullwing doors, a hood scoop, and straked radiator inlets. This example is finished in Siberia Blue and wears Mazdaspeed equipment including a lower front air dam and a high rear wing
